Well I’m glad to get you started
We may have had a rough past but I’m always happy to introduce people to the wonderful world of dnd
I’m going be the dungeon master of the character you are going to be playing
But I will have to give you a few ground rules
1. Don’t cheat with your stats
2. Respect the world your in
3. The dice will occasionally fuck you no matter how good you are
4. Your party is made of veteran players so don’t be discouraged by them outperforming you
5. Death is permanent unless a something says otherwise like a spell
6. At some point your character will likely die and you should make peace with this fact
7. The DM is in control of what happens to your character and is wise not to taunt or anger lest you have a death wish for you char
8. Know your place in the pecking order of the party you probably won’t be the leader considering your new and unproven
9. Try to Have fun and not ruin others fun
